I am guilty, guilty of leaving my projects alone in my bag ~>
Oh me , Oh my. This started as a scarf and then I decided to transform it into a cape. But this has been in the making since The evening that Hurricane Sandy touched down and I must admit that I could've been finished with this, but, I dwindled on, letting my project sit and whisper to me.. Work on me, Work on me.
<~~~ This is how it looks open. I think it will be a beauty and it feels great. I will not continue to divulge the other sources, rather where are my other WIP projects hiding about my living room. LOL
Laughter is good for the soul as is Knitting/Crocheting and Crafting in general. Why who doesn't love yarn, the softest of the soft? Well those who don't know. Who have not been mesmerized my merino's or cashmere/merino blend, silk and alpaca. Seriously, I, a knitter for 7 years, I must say that I am sort of a yarn snob. Not quite fully snobbish but I am I simply love caressing the luxurious yarns who sends quivers through the fingers ~ stimulating the brains thoughts and ideas and patterns that scream of our attention. Oh yeah.
Now on to life. I tried the Vitamin E sink-in moisture mask last night. It requires 10 minutes of relaxation. After all that is said and done your face is left soft.
Although, I must admit that being forced to sit still was pushy. I was playing Ruzzle while laying in bed and letting my face absorb this stuff. My eyebrows and chin need immediate attention from my tweezers. When I think of my past and the use of makeup, there really isn't much to talk about.
I wore lipstick at times but not for long. Eyeliner was alright but scarcely used. Mascara, hmm, nope not until the past 10 years have I truly utilized this. With my skin care routine, there barely was any. Not unless I was having a breakout and need some stuff to correct the problem, but otherwise, it wasn't until Shakira [my daughter] crept into her preteens that I needed some products to handle her acne. Prior to that I used alcohol to clean my pores. Astringent was, scarcely used, but now since Thanksgiving, my purchases have increased. My makeup purchases have increased. I know names, products, companies, and the usage of these products. Yes, I am a late bloomer, although it is never too late in life.
<~~~ This is Thanksgiving Day 2012 the start of a new me.Now to the right ~~~> this picture recently was taken on February 5, 2013.
Lashes are longer, eyeliner more defined, and different products to a slight degree. But, there is a difference because I am using bronzer and blush.
Blah, Blah, Blah. Oh well, I am still perfecting my techniques and the time spent doing my face. Psst.... I love the way I look when I put on my face and the eyes I catch looking.
So I have been rambling on. I will return to my movie Can~Can starring Frank Sinatra & Shirley MacLaine. This is the first time I'm watching this and I love it. Now, I will also pick up my WIP and continue to work on it.
Well enjoy your day and the Sunshine. I hear that Monday it is suppose to be raining. Not cool at all.
