Hello Lovely people

Here I am proud. Yes, very proud because growth is important~especially in the YouTube universe.  So my latest tutorial for my brows is awesome.  I just wish I new how to utilize the video editor on YouTube so I can add some tunes.  Yep. One day.  In the meantime, I shall continue my creativeness so stay tuned!  

Out of sync literally

Good day my lovelies.  I am sitting here in my bed awake this morning clueless.  Yep,  maybe a little dazed because I don't take to well being home let alone home with crutches as my companion.  What makes everything a little but more bad is that I've got to wait until my daughter awakens for breakfast and that is in 2 hrs.  (It is now 8:39 am) Yep.   I've ashtray brushed my teeth and cleaned my face.  Played some Candy Crush,  did my daily spin on Bejeweled & wad on Facebook for a bit as well. Wait not to mention watched some of my own videos on YouTube.  A bit bored.  Maybe.  But I need to detangle my hair because it's unfit for taping.   Oh well. Have a great day!

Then & Now ~ Memories

When I think of my high school days I wonder what the heck I was thinking about? The above pic was taken on 7/25/2014 ~~> Like literally I look at my pics now and I can tell you that I didn't look like this in high school, college, nor during my daughters 19 yrs of life [She is approaching her 21st Birthday this August].  Literally I say this not to be mean but just to keep it on the up and up.  

This pic was taken 6/16/2009, only some lip color but nothing else.  This pic is okay, nothing extraordinary except the blouse and jewelry, but nothing else. A Plain Jane if you will.  I have changed and for the better.  I went from plain to WOW.

This instagram post is an example of my change in three steps that day, I believe this was taken last year.  I never wanted to use makeup. All that changed 11/22/2012 [Thanksgiving] when I wore my first pair of falsies.  Life would never look the same, I sure as heck wouldn't look the same.

Are there any regrets, yeah, cause if I had look this good in high school forward I would have a different mind set.  But then again, it wasn't my time.  Plenty of lessons to be learned.

Okay, there is nothing wrong with you.  If you love yourself, have friends, go out, enjoy life and the good stuff, then there is nothing wrong with you.  You just haven't found the right one and the doesn't happen so quick either.  It takes time, and during the process, you're going to find more than a few duds.  It's all good. This experience is necessary to really see what are your true deal makers that will not be tolerated. Sometimes we think we have all the answers and we really don't.  I laugh because now that I am 42 and have lived on my own, taking care of me and learning more about myself ~ in the process I learn more about what I won't tolerate, the deal breakers and the compromises.

Now, if you are having some issues with yourself, then they need to be addresses asap.  Yes, like yesterday.  How can you even consider being with someone if you don't love yourself?  When you love yourself, everything else falls into place.  Getting to know yourself intimately the ins and outs is important because who can know you better than yourself.  A relationship shouldn't define who you are.  You define who you are.  Everything about you defines who you are.

What do you like to do and don't like to do?
Is there something you would like to experience but haven't dared tried? Well time to ask a friend to come along for the ride.  Is there a book that you've wanted to read but are to scared to read it because you are worried about what your friends and family will think?  Why worry about them.. They are living their lives and doing what pleases them to make them happy ~ So why aren't you making yourself happy by reading or doing what pleases you? I am just saying that when you worry about what others think, you are missing out on so much that life has to offer.

Think about it.  Life is too short not to be lived and experienced.  It is never too late for anything.  Look at me, I am a self-taught makeup artist.  Ladies are asking me to teach them what I have learned and that is a big accomplishment.  Plus, I do know how to knit a pair of socks and a baby sweater too.

Take on a hobby, visit your local bookstore and take a day trip by yourself.  Get to know the real you.

False Lashes [Used & top Faves]

How can one explain their love for false lashes?  Thanks to individuals such as Nitraa B and The Cambelles both from YouTube, I have embraced these beauties which accentuate my eyes to a new degree.  Falsies like a new wig, or a new cut is AMAZING.  Here is what my collection of used falsies look like:

Yes, I have used this many lashes. Give or a take two that have been tossed; however I have used all these lashes twice or more since 11/2012. My top faves in order:
1) Kiss
2) Ardell
3) Andrea
4) Red Cherry
5) Kara

Of course there are those non-descript lashes that I am testing out that I have stumbled upon in my Beauty Supply Store hidden discoveries.  Since learning to apply makeup and stepping into the world with a new outlook I have never been the same.  I would say this is in a good way, most definitely.  It is like your favorite lipstick, fave pots to cook in, the best yarn to work with that creates your project so effortlessly. Wait, how about your fave sneakers, or underwear.  Yes ladies and gentlemen, I love my falsies.

Here is where I put my used babies lashes:  

A Hefty Ziploc bag. Yes this keeps my used lashes free from dust, dirt, and the from being lost.  LOVE IT.  There are more lashes to to be utilized and I have to get a new ziploc to store the new ones because this one is filled up.

Irresponsible or pure lazy

Do you ever that feeling about smacking the taste out of your 20 yr old?  Or maybe you just want to disappear without a word?  Yes, these things come to mind when I look at my own offspring.  What started it this morning is that she has an interview at JFK, yes I said it, JFK Airport which is on the other end of Queens before the Far Rockaway tail.  Knowing full well about this yesterday, you would think that she needs to check mta.info for transit information and the Queens bus map to see what bus or buses go to Terminal 5 of the Airport. No, she decides to ask me this morning, then have the nerve to catch an attitude and state that she's not going to the interview.  I told her, she can either call back the number from yesterday or just go. She knew JFK Airport is far out, why would you accept a second interview then fuss about it now?  I told her flat out, to get up and go to the interview.  I told her this: You won't know exactly how long it's going to take until you try it.  If you don't want it, then kindly decline the job offer; but don't just not show up because that will be a negative on her part".  She's on her way to the interview and I am waiting for housing to re-caulk my bathtub.  Today will be my late day for work.  Toodles

Is it worth it?

Good day everyone.  Technically it's morning as I write this post and I feel the tears in my eyes again.  "Is it worth it"  the question plagues the mind when living in NYCHA establishments.  I didn't have a problem in the beginning but this is already 11 yrs and my neighbors woke me this morning with their arguing but mainly it was their blasting of the radio.  Let me explain, My bedroom and bathroom lines their kitchen and dining room.  So I hear it all.  Needless to say I walked out my apartment into the hallway to knock on their door.  It took more than five minutes to get their attention and they never opened the door but she started yelling more at him "You See, You See" next thing I know they were at it again. I went back to my apartment and began fixing my morning coffee and PBJ sandwich.  Oh yeah, and I gave the cat her daily food and water. 

So now I am sitting here doing what any normal YouTube & Blogger does when their sleep is interrupted; I am reviewing my tutorial video that requires editing and writing this blog.  Yeah I had to pause the video so that I can bring forth my mornings torment.  Peace of mind is essential and I swear I have been questioning my money saving on rents as opposed to the sacrifice of moving into a better living environment.  Hmm.  That is a great question however, I have to remain here until the end of 2016.  That is because I have been borrowing funds from my pension and I've decided not to do so anymore. That will free up approximately 90 bucks biweekly.  ttyl

laying around deep in thought

There comes a time in everyone's life where growing up and maturity goes hand in hand.   Yep,  no matter how much you try to avoid it,  something will spark that fire and there is no other choice.  I see that at my new place of employment coming into my third month there,  I feel a sense of depletion.   Yes,  I am one who thrives on challenges and learning new things. I love my municipal job;  however the new site is questionable.  Now I realized they have yet to go with the times and it seems they're stuck in the old ways which leave very little to be learnt.   So for now,  I maintain a journal, blank face prints to create out of this world mosaic faces with makeup.   I also read and peruse through magazines for ideas.  So far the ideas are coming.   Now it's a matter of recreating the looks I've put to paper. Thank you all for being patient because a change is coming within my personal realm and I soon will be vlogging & blogging about it all.   Stay tuned everyone.

Let's play catch up.

     It has been a while since I've written anything.  Here it goes...  I have been promoted and now work around the corner from the South Street Seaport.  Even on a crappy day, the walk is amazing as well mind clearing.  I am looking forward to the season change so that I make take full advantage of the area.  Plans for walking are smack dab in my center. For one, walking to 1 Centre St [near 1 Police Plaza] is not bad at all.  If you didn't know, let me explain; I have weight issues and my knees are suffering.  Of course I will be taking my time in my walks until I gain the strength needed; but my ultimate goal is to walk up Broadway and take the train from Union Square.  See, it didn't cost me to gain weight, so therefore it's not going to cost me to lose some of this weight ~ And walking is the best way.

     So far I have been walking during my lunch hour, however I lack consistency.  I can say that staying inside during my lunch time cannot be helped because of how bad this weather has become.  But I am so looking forward to spring.  Yes spring, where I can sit outside, or walk along the seaport and enjoy it all.  Sights, sounds, tourists and everything else that the Seaport is known for.  My makeup skills have improved and I am getting requests for a tutorial.  I love it because then I know I have been taught well.  I can't wait to meet my teachers at IMATS the April at Pier 94.  Plus I already have a purchase plan.  That will come another day. Now it's time to check my emails, and such.  Ttyl.
