My day & night

I never expected my life to make such a change in a matter of a year. Oh yes, it started with my comrade from work Mrs. Sparks.  It was all her fault for introducing me to some interesting people like Nitraa B and her False Eyelash Tutorial and DivaSlimsDown both from YouTube.  Okay, then on Thanksgiving day 2012, I wore my first pair of falsies. What else occurred was during this time one makeup artist finally broke through my wall and a light bulb was turned on bright.  That person was Goss the Makeup Artist from YouTube [one word] and his web page is www.gossmakeupartist.com.

Let me explain that first you must follow and learn so that you can lead and teach.  For some it sounds weird but honestly I am following and learning from other gurus.  First understand that my life is forever changed and the compliments I receive are amazing.  So below are some pics for you to see the transition.

There is no turning back now.  I love the look and so appreciate that I have a choice in how I look.  that beauty mark on the side of my nose is the real thing not painted on either.
Amazing the art of makeup.  If I didn't know me I wouldn't have recognized myself.  Life with a different outlook is wonderful.  Psst, my friend said that some people bloom late in life and I fit that example very well.

My requests so far was a Eyebrow Tutorial, a Foundation Routine and now a complete Makeup Tutorial.  I am so excited also because I am someones personal MUA ~ MakeUp Artist.

Oh yeah my portfolio is building.  Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Don't forget to tune into my channel on YouTube:

An update & my weekend activities

Well this weekend was to be filled with events and a party.  Well I did attend one event and that was Terminal 5 to see @RobinThicke.  Oh Sugar Honey & Sweet Tea it was beautiful once he sang.  However prior to that, to wait on a line for over 3 hours for tickets that my friend won was beyond crazy.  Insane perhaps, who knows; but now I have an idea what the fans go through when they win free tickets to an event like this for the #VMA's.  This event was being taped for the VMA's as well.  In the process of waiting on line, I met some great people like @krystel84, @delilahtruth  & @yungtruth {instagram}  Great people and @yungtruth is the CEO of Sour Grapes clothing line.  My friend @MzHeroGirl {twitter} has patience but doesn't play when it comes to waiting on line.

So beyond this I was on edge, cranky, agitated, and my a visitor arrived... Yes I said it.. It started at work and really showed its ugly face during the concert.  WTH.   So what could I do except cancel out on Saturdays events all because #MotherNature came crashing down on my parade.  What is a girl to do?  Well let's just say over kill on YouTube videos. Due to my busy schedule at work, this weekend is the My Faves Giveaway on my channel, and I will be upstate enjoy a Ladies Only Sleepover Fondue party.  Oh yeah.  I am so looking forward to announcing the winner this Sunday.
So here is what I was up to this weekend:

Ridding myself of grays with Revlon's ColorSilk in Deep Red #148.  Yes I did a tutorial on how I color my hair.  Well not really a tutorial but how I do my hair.  Okay fine, it was a semi tutorial.

Who doesn't love playing with makeup, then chit chatting...
Ooh, I do! I had fun, it kept me busy & as always I love entertaining.

So I had to remove my makeup with @PondsColdCream in order to test out the Olay Effects cleanser which was complimentary from +Influenster
with my #ParadiseVoxBox.  So I put on the cold cream and wiped the makeup away with a washcloth.

Then I waited for my camera battery to charge, so an hour or so later, my
daughter and I started to film myself testing out the Olay Fresh Effects Cleanser.
I enjoyed the experience and the feeling of my face afterwards and as I type this blog.

So here it is.  #NoFilter #ShineGoAway.  Yes it did go away.  Because I don't feel oily in my T-Zone.  Oh yeah.  I will continue to use this product on and off to give my skin a chance and because I don't wear makeup all the time.  This worked well with me today because I was utilizing makeup.  I will keep everyone posted.

What is a day

Today is Father's Day.  And though I want to thankful and happy, the fact is that there are so many dead beat dads out there who really truly don't understand or care to understand what being a father is all about. Wait, then they want to get upset and vicious when another man steps in and takes on the role and does the job and better.  I, on the other do not give my blessing to those who stepped in and harmed the children that are not of his own or of his own.  How can I?  How can we?

I am a single mother.  Was it by choice?  See the man I fell in love with, the man I wanted to spend my life with back in 1992, decided when I was two months pregnant 1993, that whether or not I chose to continue with the pregnancy, he would not be with me.  I was left with a decision that I was not ready for.  How many appointments did I make to terminate and it was the last appointment, when upon laying table and the doctor sprayed my inner thighs and vaginal area with an antiseptic liquid that my entire body lifted 2 inches off the table.  I loudly said stop, I can't go through this.  That day,. I walked out of the office pregnant and alone with my love.  He broke my heart and left us.

Here I am 20 yrs later after the breakup, strong, independent, and wondering what it's like to be in a loving family.  Far too late to wonder.  I only ask, rather inform my suitors that if you wish to step me ~ What do you bring to the table of which I have managed to maintain by myself.  No, I do not wish for you to rewrite the past, but I do ask that you understand the meaning self sufficiency, responsibility and that although money is the root to all evil, without it we cannot survive.

I wish I truly thought about ~~> VENTING

Before anything, I am thankful.  I have to voice it out that if I didn't make the choice to have my daughter instead of having another abortion ~ I don't know where my life would be.  Yes, I said it, I had abortions, because back in the 80's early 90's ~it's what women did because they didn't want to bring in a child into this world for what ever reason, and I am one not to judge.  For me I was too young, immature, and mentally unstable because of a traumatizing childhood.  I surprise myself because anybody else would have committed suicide, became a hooker, drug addict, or incarcerated or even in the psychiatric ward.  I am clearly stating and voicing what others have held bottled up inside.

So I love my daughter, I do, But, I feel that sometimes I should've really thought about things.  See I loved her father, he was my first true love at 21.  He was the one I wanted to marry and even my wedding rings ~ I designed.  They are vividly drawn in my head, imbedded there forever because he will always be the one who broke my heart and left me when I was two months pregnant.  I was hurt, I cried so much.  I made an appointment at the clinic to abort my pregnancy and as I lay on the table, and they sprayed my inner thighs and vaginal area with that medicated brown disinfectant soap, my entire body lifted up on the table about two inches like someone was levitating me.  Needless to say, I told them I couldn't do it and walked out the clinic pregnant, homeless, and lost.  I was heart broken, I mean what was I to do.

I survived and with common sense and not afraid to ask for help, I ended up with my first apartment at 22, returned to college and utilized the system to benefit my needs without fraud.  I was given an advantage that many others fail to utilize till this day.  Being on public assistance is not the end of the road, but you have to take advantage of the opportunity presented so that you can be successful later on down the road.  I am the living proof that all things are possible.  AND, I can add that I didn't receive any child support in the process of it all.  However, my darling daughter whose name translated means Thankful and Grateful is neither of.  Instead, she chooses from time to time, to be rude, spiteful, self absorbed and enjoys attempting to live up the Joneses.  One thing is that she is trying to spend my money to do so.  So, it's official that she is on her own with this.  See I worked at a young age, however this one feels that she is entitled to it all because she is an only child.  Sadly mistaken, because, I believe if you work hard enough and earn your privileges then you shall be rewarded.

I am tired of her pettiness, her lack of love for me.  To keep clear of her, I went back to school and I will be graduating this June 2013.  Now that classes and school is completed, I am attending digital photography classes on Saturdays for 8 sessions.  Then there is my YouTube channel under Sweejae35 that keeps me going.  Plus today, I thought of testing myself to do my makeup simple for work in under 10 minutes.  I'm just saying.  She doesn't understand that Motherhood is not an easy task and it is a continuous job of which you don't get paid for get any recognition.  The recognition you do get is that they stay out of jail, finish school, and become successful people in this crazy world.

What will, I do next ~~~ Well, I am planning to redecorate on a budget and I will keep everyone posted with before and after pictures including getting myself a new computer system.  I am looking into an Apple system.  Oh yes.  With that being, I must go.  I am quite tired and need to rest.

I send you all my love and if you feel like venting please leave your comments below and I will reply as soon as possible.  We single moms have to stick together. Big Hug to all thank you and a big thank you for letting me vent and share a little something personal about myself.
